Linstow purchases Innovation Norway’s former head office on Akersgata

4. July 2022

We are planning to connect the property to the neighbouring property to develop a fully refurbished office project of over 16,000 m² for rental.

Linstow already owns the neighbouring property, Tollbugata 32, and combining it with the newly purchased property at Akersgata 13–15 offers exciting opportunities to create brand-new solutions.

Mortensen explains that the company is still in an early phase of the planning, but that the intention is to give the buildings a more open façade onto Akersgata, Tollbugata and Nedre Vollgate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to create a large, modern and sustainable office building in the centre of Oslo Per Mortensen, CEO of Linstow AS

We also want to create an attractive ground floor of value to both our future office tenants and the people of Oslo. In this way we will contribute to the outstanding development work already underway in the area. At present, these buildings come across as somewhat forbidding and outdated, but we are convinced that modern, sustainable solutions, a new floor plan and a refreshed façade will make this a very attractive office project in the market Per Mortensen, CEO of Linstow AS

The vendor is Innovation Norway. The Norwegian Directorate of Public Construction and Property has acted as the vendor’s adviser during the sales process, and Malling & Co Corporate Real Estate AS has been the agent for the transaction. Handover of the property is scheduled to take place in April 2023.

The renovation of the office building is planned to be completed in 2025/26.
